Best kept secret in State College

                        5 of 5
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this is a welcome retreat after a long day of adventures or college activities. This one bedroom suite is perfectly nestled on the Penn State campus. Tree lined streets, gracious hosts and well appointed accommodations make this the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of a college town. That being said, it is only 5 minutes from the center of State College where shops, restaurants and night life abound. We stay for a long weekend and still feel like there is more to see every time we go back. So close to everything, meticulously maintained living space, owners onsite if you need anything and separate entrance to privately come and go at your leisure - This is our only choice when coming into town for the Happy Volley Volleyball tournament. You won't be disappointed!!!!!

Beautiful, homey and a must for stargazers

                        5 of 5
In October, 2015 my husband and I spent two delightful weeks with Cathy and Dan Moore. The in-law quarters (with separate entrance) were clean and beautifully decorated in a very homey style. Cathy and Dan were delightful hosts. They anticipated or accommodated our needs and those of our pet Beagle in every way. Fresh sheets and towels, home baked cookies and home made jam added to our experience. They were available and helpful whenever we needed them but were unobtrusive and discrete so that we felt we were on vacation instead of visiting. Their home is situated in a mountainous area where neighbors are a distance away so it is very quiet during the day and dark at night. At first this was unsettling to us city folks but then we discovered the delights of mountain living. I saw the Milky Way for the first time in my life and so many stars! So take your star chart if you are interested in constellations. With no city lights or noises it was easy to fall asleep and wake rested. We saw deer quite a few times while driving up or down their driveway. State College and Bellefonte were close by (maybe 10 miles) so it was easy for us to do what we needed to do on a daily basis. We would highly recommend these accommodations and would stay again given the opportunity.
