What a shock, returning to the Corpus Christi area and being welcomed with 43 degree temps! We so miss the constantly pleasant weather in Coronado, occasionally interrupted by a rain shower. Having vacationed & traveled around the world, we found the Panama coast and adjoining mountain country a wonderful reprieve from the Gulf of Mexico, where we spend our winters. Warm rain is not a hardship, but so welcomed that we have decided that our next trip to Coronado in 2017 will again be during September, October, & November.
The setting of Coronado Bay is unsurpassed and the amenities are very complete, with two pools, gym, game tables, and a beach with black and white sands. The tides leave amazing patterns on these beautiful sands with each ebbing, a photographers delight. Sea beans were found in abundance for the beachcombers.
We were fortunate to follow the recommendation of Elise and hire Linda M. to pick us up at the airport. What a natural tour guide. Full of both historical and practical information. We enjoyed her so much that we also hired her for a day of touring Panama City on our outward trip back to America.
We found Rudy and Elise to be helpful, caring, truly involved in assuring each guest had a perfect stay in their suites. A trip meant to be an exploratory one and we found all aspects to meet or surpass any expectations. We shall return!
