              Lovely house, great location

              5 of 5
First off, the house is nicer looking in person than in the photos. It's a great place to spend a few days! Three of us stayed at the house for a few days while going to the Shakespeare Festival, visiting wineries, and doing some hiking. The location was terrifically convenient, the accommodations were very nice, and the house, overall, is quite comfortable and clean. We enjoyed it all and especially enjoyed having our breakfast and relaxing on the patio in the mornings. If you haven't been to the area, the house is a few minutes off the highway (but quiet!) and maybe a 10-minute drive from Ashland, where you'll find lots of restaurants and grocery stores. If you stay here, know the kitchen is somewhat unevenly stocked--spices, salt and pepper, some oil (and we left some vinegar), but unlike other places, there was no coffee or tea, no mayo or ketchup in the fridge, and no sugar. You'll likely have to stock up on some items when you get here--or not, since so many terrific restaurants are a short drive away. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others!
