            Nice villa and excellent value

            My family has been visiting Middle Bass Island and Put-In-Bay for years staying in a wide variety of accommodations from camping to nice hotels. This villa is an excellent value for the location and tucked away just enough from the busy restaurant/bar and pool. Manager communication was outstanding both by email and text.             Good for large groups

            It is a beautiful old property with character, quiet and a serene setting. Our large group enjoyed the stay. The bathrooms need to be updated and some paint needs to be chipped off the ceilings but nothing that caused any problems. In amenities a grill is listed. We had planned to grill while there but it was not available. When we called to ask where it was they said they'd have to bring it to us as they store it in the garage. We didn't know we had to ask for listed amenities. We told them no because we didn't want to wait to cook dinner. We've rented several properties through different companies and never had to send a cash deposit. We were told our refund would come in 14 days. The property management company kept our money for 49 days and there were delayed responses to our emails and calls. We truly thought the money was gone but finally received it after the holidays. This was very poor customer service. We rented in mid-November and expected to have our money returned by Thanksgiving. They really never said they were sorry....just kept saying I'm busy flying here and there and will send the check next week. We enjoyed the property. Just know you have to be patient for your refund. Very nice kitchen.
