The Sandstone Suite is nicely decorated in a warm style evoking a feeling of belonging to this historic area. The beds in both rooms are comfortable. The suite was clean. The suite was private and was a wonderful retreat from the days' activities. The kitchen was cute with a small table and chairs, small fridge and microwave. I didn't cook. But I reheated leftovers from the many local restaurants which were within walking distance. And I made a nice cup of tea in the evening before bed. The two tvs and DVD player made nice entertainment when my teenage grandchildren stayed with me. Wifi was consistent so I was able to keep up with personal social and business matters.
I really liked having a dedicated parking spot near the entrance. The location is close to many Ohio attractions including Cedar Point, and Lake Erie. The turnpike and highways are closeby making it easy to get to other locations quickly.
I enjoyed my peaceful stay at the Sandstone Suite. It really was a home away from home. The owners were easy to work with from the minute I made my inquiry to rent, throughout my stay, and throughout checkout.
I stayed here three weeks and I definetly would stay here again for a short or long-term stay.
Although I stayed in the winter, I've included some summer activities in this review. While some of the activities I've mentioned in this review are summer activities, I lived in Ohio many years ago and have been to all the attractions I've mentioned in this review.
As a winter guest I enjoyed shopping, restaurants, and short, quick trips to relatives and old friends living in nearby towns. And, of course, relaxing at the Sandstone Suite.
