Beautiful and well appointed. Amazing location to explore Cape Breton

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us Michele. Everything was simply amazing for our 'Home Base' while on vacation. This home is as advertised and much more. The view from the master bedroom is breath taking and we enjoyed every minute of it. We started every morning with coffee on the porch and planned our day trips around Cape Breton. As people who love to cook , everything was easily found in the kitchen. St Peters had everything we needed and within walking distance. Thanks again. Mike , Cindie, Liam, Noah, Bob and Louise. Excellent for those who like to get out.

I stayed here for a month. This one hundred year old house has been beautifully restored, many of the original features have been carefully recovered, the living room ceiling is fantastic. To answer the specific points on the review page: The description is accurate, it is immaculately clean, and well maintained, the owners are helpful ( when I came back from surfing with all my gear covered in sand they installed an out side tap for me to rinse it), I would have no hesitation in staying here again. I was here for work, but while here I had lots of walks on the beaches, went surfing and sea kayaking. The sea kayaking here is fantastic but not for the novice, ( surf launches and landings and rocky exposed headlands, water temp in April about 2C)

          Great Vacation Rental

We stayed at this house for 3 nights in September with 4 adults. The house has a beautiful view of the water, close to a nice beach. Convenient for exploring local places and Cabot Trail. Quiet setting with room to spread out. We played ping pong, watched a movie and had a fabulous lunch on the sunny deck one of the days. Sarah, the caretaker, was very accommodating and Jon, the owner, was very prompt with communications via email and phone. The only drawback was no WiFi at the house but both Jon and Sarah offered suggestions. Since the main floor is upstairs, it may be difficult for those with disabilities.
