Absolutely beautiful!

5 of 5
We have been to Nova Scotia before and love the Peggy's Cove area. We love the beautiful scenery right outside the cottage. It was very convenient for us to walk to the Sou'wester and have breakfast and lunch/dinner. Loved walking all over the granite boulders and watching the ocean. A big plus for us was the Super moon! So bright! We will definitely stay again next time we travel to Nova Scotia and will recommend it to our family and friends.

Charming home, great location

4 of 5
It's a lovely, spacious 4 bedroom home that comfortably housed 4 adults and a teenager on our first-ever trip to Nova Scotia. The bedrooms are a good size, and all the beds were very comfy, which was really welcomed after long days of sightseeing! Great location, and allows you to choose the scenic lighthouse route, or the highways when you want to head out. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Shireen!

Cosy Cottage

4 of 5
We stayed at this cottage just a week ago and had a very pleasant stay - my first time on the East Coast and very good value for money. I'm noting my list of pros and cons, but bear in mind, this is a cottage and not a city home with all mod cons - however with the picky renter in mind I'm giving a mention to things that most people can easily forgive. Pros: A very pretty location on the waterfront. Cottage is very eclectic and cute Relaxing atmosphere with a fire pit and gas BBQ and lots of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors/water Boats available (check with owner before using) Great access to Peggy's Cove and Halifax. Includes bed linens and towels Clean and well maintained property Very pleasant and accommodating landlady Pet friendly Cons: The property is on a steep hillside, so access is a little difficult if you're unsteady on your feet, but not insurmountable if you take it easy. Bedrooms small - no choice but to be intimate, so make sure you like your room mate. Beds have footboards - a little tricky for the taller sleeper. Waterpressure intermittent (you're not in a rush, so take your time and enjoy a different pace) Wifi intermittent (you really should have left your tech devices at home - remember you're supposed to be getting away from it all) Kitchen a little cramped (challenging for two people to work in, but if you choreograph well it can be a beautiful thing) The property is pet friendly, but the property isn't fenced (so beware the Pit Bull next door who apparently likes to eat small dogs - just make sure your dog is smothered in Wasabi and you'll be fine)
