This review is a long time coming as we stayed over a year ago (4/9/16-4/16/16), but as it is Spring time again, I am thinking of the lovely week we spent at Serenity Falls. Things I loved about the cabin: It's historic and rustic feel combined with the little valley it's in had a very Cades Cove feel. Loved the hot tub on the deck above the rushing stream. Followed the stream up the mountain behind the cabin as far as we dared, it was so much fun, remote, peaceful. Hiked the park trails accessed from the trout farm at the end of the valley - saw an amazing waterfall and not another soul. Our dogs loved exploring around the cabin and chilling on the porch. I brought an art set with me and painted while sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning - so relaxing. Also, walking the dogs up the valley road, past the goats and along the stream, very nice for us and exciting for the pups. Kitchen, bedroom and baths had everything we needed. Both baths are a nice size with large soaking tub in lower bath. Bryson City is very near, easy to go out to eat or grab groceries. The only con I can think of is that another cabin is just in front and slightly down hill from Serenity Falls. When the neighbors and cleaning crew are in the back yard they will have a clear view of you sitting in your PJs on the front porch. But the hot tub is behind the cabin and very private. Honestly, my week at Serenity Falls was one of the best vacations I've ever had in terms of peace and relaxation. I dream of returning.
