A Hidden Gem, Yet Close to Everything!

                    5 of 5
What a beautiful and relaxing place! My family and I stayed here the weekend of the NC Apple Festival and absolutely loved the cottage, the pond, and the surrounding area. The cottage is only about five minutes from downtown Hendersonville, but set back far enough from the road that it is extremely quiet. It was actually so quiet at nighttime I had to play white noise sounds on my phone for background noise! The cottage has everything you need for a weekend getaway or an extended stay: pots and pans, plates, silverware, even a stacked washer and dryer! There is ample parking and a covered carport you can park two cars/trucks in. The pond is simply beautiful and there is a circular trail you can walk around it. During a morning walk I discovered two beautiful white-tailed deer in the field just down from the end of the drive and then saw about ten wild turkeys the same afternoon! Just can't say enough about how wonderful our stay here was. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful place that is still close to everything you'd like to do (shopping, events, hiking, etc.). I also recommend eating at Pi-Squared Pizza and Flat Rock Wood Room (WOW!) The property owner is great and was so helpful in communicating with us. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! :-)

The cabin was quirky, cute, clean, and deliciously different. Suitable for people who fit that same description. Can't wait to return!

Great Set-Up, Close to Adventure and Fun

                    5 of 5
Stayed at this quaint bungalow over the Christmas holidays. Simply loved it and Grace did an excellent job introducing us to all the are has to offer. Pros: - Well stocked kitchen with organic coffee and enough cookware to make a feast - Open backyard with bbq, hot tub, chairs - Great Hikes (Mt. Mitchell, Dupont Forest etc.) - Perfect movie collection and holistic book collection for rainy days in the loft - Close to Asheville and Henderson - Bonus: welcome bottle of wine! Only heads up is that the upstairs bathroom is an open set-up. Did not bother us, but just a heads up.
