Beautiful cabin with own beach and dock

              5 of 5
We loved staying at the beautiful cabin on Cayuga Lake. The cabin was exactly what we expected and how it was described on the website. It was well maintained and had everything we needed. Sally provided great customer service and checked in with us to make sure we have everything we need. The cabin was very comfortable for three people and can easily fit four. We loved being surrounded by the trees with the lake glittering through the leaves. The beach and dock are very convenient and allow for a swim at any time of the day. We noticed that the lake doesn't have any public beaches. Thus, having your own lake access is a huge advantage! One night we went to the Hangar Theater which is less than 5 minutes from the cabin. We spent the days exploring the other lakes as well as Cornell University with Cornell Plantations and the Johnson Art Museum. What a nice way to be surrounded by nature but still having access to culture and entertainment. We will certainly recommend the cabin to friends and family and hope to be able to return one day.

              Very nice, clean rental

              5 of 5
We were looking for a pet-friendly rental for a few days around a wedding that we were attending in Geneva. A bit of a trek to get up to Geneva, but the cabin was lovely. Very clean, plenty of space for two people and a dog; there is another bedroom though it might be a little tight for four adults. Would be great for two adults and two kids. Grocery, beer, and liquor stores are very convenient. Lots of wineries around though we didn't check any out. Also some breweries and distilleries that we hear are quite good. We stayed in the 'new cabin' and spent a ton of time on the deck. Great views of the lake, slightly obscured by the trees, but sunset-watching was still awesome! We didn't spend too much time by the water, as there were two other families at the other cabins, but we didn't mind. A few recommendations for the owners: Add blinds to all the windows. Really helps keep things cool on hot days. The water pump right outside the bedroom window constantly kicking on every time someone flushes a toilet or turns on the sink is kind of annoying. Maybe it could be moved to the other side of the cabin away from the windows? A light on the deck would be nice for post-sunset grilling. We would definitely stay here again if we happen to be in the Seneca Lake area.

              Perfect in Every Way!

              5 of 5
Stay here! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is STUNNING. There was plenty of space for our group of 10 and we loved the huge deck to enjoy the amazing view. The interior is magazine -worthy with an authentic log cabin feel that is impeccably decorated. It was the perfect weekend get-away and the owners were a dream to work with. Very responsive, accommodating, helpful and incredibly nice. I am looking forward to returning for many more stays in the future.
