            Recent Waneta Lake Reviews

            Great house, amazing view!

            5 of 5
We loved this house. There was plenty of space with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved the outdoor area which includes a fire pit/stove that we cooked our left-over pizza on. This would be the perfect house to stay at during the nice weather months. The house was clean and we all agreed the beds were very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better location, the best wineries and breweries are 5 minutes from the house. We plan on coming back in the spring and we will stay here!

            A step back in time

            5 of 5
I came out with a couple of girlfriends to run the Wineglass Marathon (Bath to Corning). We had a wonderful stay at this place. The house is different than any other I have stayed in. It is like truly stepping back in time. It fit our needs for a girls weekend perfectly. It was very clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large, we each had our own room to sleep in and there were rooms left over. The kitchen was well equipped and we made good use of the front porch to sit and relax. It is conveniently located to Watkins Glen with many yummy places to eat and the state park right there. It is also a close drive to many of wineries. The owner was fantastic to deal with!!! The place has a large kitchen table where we all naturally gathered. We had a puzzle going the whole time and a glass of wine in our had while we were doing it. What a fantastic long weekend.
