Great home base for exploring the finger lakes

          4 of 5
Perfect location to enjoy all the finger lakes and ithaca highlights. After a day of hiking, beer tasting, and Ithaca town stroll, it was nice to have a quaint, comfortable house to come back to and take in an evening sunset over the lake. Our dog Dexter loved having the gated yard to play and enjoy an evening fire with us. Although some breweries did not permit our dog, most were accommodating. Don't miss Two Goats (walkable- less then a mile) and Lucky Hare Brewing. Samira was available via phone for any issue/question. We'd definitely come back and stay again.

          Perfect!

          5 of 5
Our extended family of 9, ranging in age from almost 2 to almost Social Security, spent about a week here. The location was perfect for activities on both sides of Seneca Lake and convenient to Watkins Glen for shopping and dining. Family friendly with lots of comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, a big table for family dining and games, and a big back yard, it was perfect for our needs. With 7 adults prepping for a wedding, there were plenty of hot water and towels! The farmhouse was clean and nicely decorated and we had no qualms about the children playing on the floor. We also enjoyed the front porch and the backyard hammock. It was a very peaceful and restful spot. The Finger Lakes area has so much to do we easily could have spent twice as much time here. Hiking, wine tasting, sailing and kayaking on the lake, to name a few, were easily accessible. If we ever return to this area (and we live on the West Coast) we would love to stay here again!
