Top of the line home and lake!

      5 of 5
The pictures do not do this home justice! The furnishing are beautiful and everything is done and decorated with impeccable taste. We have rented in the Adirondack's for years and this home is by far the best we have stayed at. Every amenity you can think of is there. All new, impressive appliances, even a handy washer and dryer and when they say, ice-maker, it's not in the freezer! It's a pull out "cupboard" full of ice - like in a hotel. So cool! The 2 covered porches are LARGE and full of great furniture and cushions. The lake is the best! Sand bottom makes it so easy to walk into the lake! This home has the best property on the lake in our opinion! They are on a large piece of property that curves around 2 coves. Very private. The sandbar in the middle of the lake is just across from the camp. Even if you don't take the moving dock out to it for the day, it's fun to watch all the docks congregating on the sand bar and watching the people standing in the lake only knee deep! Right at the camp though, you have your own shallow waters perfect for children or just to get in for a "walk" to cool off. The wood hot-tub was also a fun feature. We kept a log on it all the time and it was always ready to get into! Nice deep soaker. We had our 11 month old grand-daugher with us and the home came with a highchair, pack and play and a play yard that worked great on the dock to contain her! The boat house had another dock attached to it that was perfect for sunning or fishing. There were plenty of floating devices. The kayaks and canoe were used every day. There are so many books, movies, games and puzzles don't bother bringing your own! We had rain for part of some of the days - but even that was great! The covered porch was plenty large enough for all 10 of us and the baby to be on it, watching the rain on the water and reading a book! The downstairs bath is beautifully done and the upstairs bath has a claw foot tub that baby loved bathing in! Even the cloth shades in the bedrooms are top of the line! Each bedroom is more beautiful then the next. Tons of blankets and each bedroom has an awesome fan. 4 generations and we all loved every part of the vacation. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! The only draw back, the IGA 2 minutes away is pretty bad. It's ok for canned goods, but don't plan on buying any produce there - the owner had given us a heads up - so just plan ahead! The Nice & Easy, a short walk, is very clean and a better place for groceries and free wifi!
