A WONDERFUL Property for Extended Family Vacation

        5 of 5
This property is terrific. The listing description is accurate, the property is very clean and well-maintained, and Cindy Mott is a very attentive and responsive owner. Our family rented both the main house and the cabin for a week-long extended family vacation. With Cindy's permission, for one night during the week we had 9 children (ages 16 months to 10 years) and 9 adults. Even with such a crowd, the property proved spacious and private enough for all of us. The children loved the large, grassy field (behind the cabin), perfect for impromptu freeze-tag, soccer, or a grandparent-planned treasure hunt. The fire pit was wonderful, and we enjoyed s'mores most nights of the week. During rainy mornings or very hot afternoons, the game room provided great entertainment. The grill and the on-site washer/dryer were really useful. We also could not have asked for a better location. The property is just across the street from Lodi State Park, so we were able to walk to two wonderful playgrounds (one for younger children, ages 2-5, and a 2nd for older children) or walk to the beach front, where we enjoyed collecting "treasures" (shells, stones, beach glass) as Seneca Lake souvenirs. Some of us attempted a little fishing, and one day we all drove up the road 10 minutes to Sampson State Park for a little lifeguard-supervised swimming and yet another amazing playground. We were close to groceries, a pharmacy, a pizzeria, and an ice cream shop. Overall, this property has something for everyone. My family had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend the property and the Mott family may be seeing us again!
