A nice, quiet refuge in the mountains

The house and the area are lovely and well kept. Overall we had a wonderful time with our friends and enjoyed the proximity to hiking and other outdoor activities. The owners are very responsive, and know the area well, they gave us some great suggestions for things to do.

                      Very peaceful!

We had a very nice weekend at the house! Follow Michael's directions and you will get into the property ( The driveway is very private and I missed it) The kitchen was very well-equipped and it's nice to have a washer dryer on the premises. Wifi was great. The property and the pond are so pretty! Excellent restaurant in Hurleysville called the pickled owl. Only a five minute drive from the house. Also very accessible to the Bethel Woods Center if you're interested in live music . Great stay!

Super Cute - Secluded, But Also Close to Town

                      5 of 5
The old schoolhouse is a perfect getaway for two people. The house has everything that you need for a relaxing time away. It's super clean and decorated out of a magazine. It's secluded enough so you don't see your neighbors, but it's less than 10 minutes to Andes, where you can grab a meal, or even a drink and play a game of pool at the hotel bar. We loved that there was firewood provided as there were no places in Andes to purchase it, so that was very helpful. It's so perfect, it made us want to own a place of our own just like it. I look forward to coming back in the winter months to enjoy the wood burning fire. We saw so many stars!
