Cute Lake Side Home

4 of 5
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved taking in the sights in and around Ithaca including hiking to waterfalls and brewery/winery tours. The home itself was very clean and well taken care of. We were surprised by the size of the kitchen which was larger than expected for such a small house. The bathroom again, was very clean. My husband liked that the shower head was high, because he is tall. The hot tub was great after a long day of skiing! Overall, we highly recommend the little yellow house. The only things I would possibly change would be for the fireplace to be usable and maybe add a couple of wall mirrors in the bedrooms. With just one bathroom, it would be nice to have an extra mirror to fix your hair while the bathroom is in use.

We had a lovely time in a beautiful location!

This was a perfect get away where we felt welcomed and given our privacy. Our dogs were comfortable too. This is well-located with beauriful views to Cornell and over Cauuga lake. The waterfall in the backyard is a great sound back drop and trails nearby to other falls and great hiking. Theresa was responsive the few times we needed anything and was a perfect host. She let us know she could be helpful with information if needed and let us be as for us, we were happy in our own. Ithaca is gorges and this was a great way to share my old haunts with my husband d and fur boys!

Quiet, creative vibe with great amenities and amazing scenery

5 of 5
I am a writer and college professor. I booked Linn's place for four days between two trips for work. I envisioned a real writer's retreat: a place where I could hole up for several days by myself and get some good writing done. Linn's place offered that and so much more. It was a comfortable place to get away from distractions and focus on work, for sure. But the property also offered plenty of opportunities to set down the work, too: to take meditative walks, look at the stars (wow! the stars!), and have afternoon hangout time on the patio with Linn's friendly cat, Pretty. Linn is an artist with an artist's sensibility and that permeates everything about the cottage and property. I feel lucky to have found her place and I hope to return.
