Best peaceful porches and views ever!

            5 of 5
What a unique and enjoyable property ! It is like going to camp and letting go of day to day life, like when we were kids! Huge screened porches for eating, hanging out and even sleeping, with beautiful vies of the lake. Love the hammock, too! It is nice that if families are sharing as we did, one cabin is the main living-dining -cooking cabin , its a great place to be social, but the other 2 cabins allow for time alone. Owner was great to work with. We can't wait to go back!

            Family fishing weekend

            5 of 5
We have been coming to the lodge for 11 years now in the fall. It's our family fishing trip and we have never been disappointed. Even if occasionally the weather throws us a curve the lodge has the downstairs rec room complete with pool table and poker table. This year our host added WiFi! The people are great and a pleasure to work with. The deck on the lodge is great place to relax and you can have a camp fire down by the water. We'll be coming back as long as they let us. Thanks Rick, Lloyd and group.

            Charming Indeed!!!!

            5 of 5
I have to apologize as I was hesitant to write this review. Not because the cabin and surroundings were awesome and exactly as listed; not because the beach, swimming area, row boat, floats, and kayaks were an extremely generous compliment; not because the tranqualizing fire pit over looking the lake was so perfectly placed allowing both the sounds of the lake and a view of the starry sky; not because the property included all of the amenities needed for a perfect stay, including a nice clean gas grill placed perfectly under the shade of the trees on the lawn overlooking the beautiful lake; not because the Pike, Bass, and Perch fishing was excellent due to a great amount of structure and varrying topography, not because of the beautiful breeze that blew through the cabin day and night as a result of an open flow from the peaceful screen porch looking over the lake to the rear screen porch backed up to the woods; and certainly not because it was the ultimate Adirondack experience with none better to be found. I simply hesitated because I had become overly selfish from anxiety that if too many others found out about what a remarkable time they will have I'd loose my place of serenity to the masses. But then I heard my Mothers voice ( or maybe it was Barney from when my boys were young, I forget) saying: "Sharing is Caring!" And so I've decided to respect those words and share this with you. I cannot say enough about what Melissa and Jaimi offer to anyone able to stay at their cabin(s). If you've never experienced the wonder, beauty, and tranquility of the Adirondacks this is your place to do so as authenticly as it gets. If you have had the gift of visiting the Adirondacks before this is your place as well. Put your laptop and cell phone away and enjoy the beauty around you. If you really have a jones for your laptop Melissa and Jaimi have provided some vintage laptops for your use, they're called "book" which can be found on the shelf next to the woodstove. Grab one and lay in the comfy hammock under the canopy of the trees or head down to the beach and sit in one of the Adirondack chairs while you dream away. Melissa and Jaimi, thank you both so much for sharing your awesome, awesome place with us. Can't wait for next year, and years to come. The Annello's-West Sand Lake N.Y.
