              Very peaceful and relaxing

My husband and I spent our 10th anniversary at the farm and had a wonderful time! This was our first stay at a B&B and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. When we first arrived and met Christine, she immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. We stayed in the private suite and it was perfect. Very clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. Even though this was our first B&B stay, I didn't feel like this was a typical B&B. It felt secluded in our room yet we could step outside and walk over to the barn to see the goats and chickens. We were fortunate enough to be able to meet Garth, the newest addition to the goat herd. He was actually born on our anniversary! The farm is also conveniently located near Cooperstown. We had dinner at the Hawkeye Lounge that is part of the Otesaga Resort Hotel. Christine recommended this and it was exactly what we were in the mood for. Beautiful setting on the lake yet very casual and laid back. The farm is also very close to Ommegang Brewery and we had a great visit there as well. We definitely look forward to coming back to the farm and bringing our children as there is so much to do and I wouldn't worry about them getting bored. All in all, our stay at the farm was exactly what we were looking for and Christine and Rick are great hosts. Thanks so much for having us!
