                An all around adorable stay

                4 of 5
My husband and I spent a long weekend here recently, and had a wonderful time! We were totally disappointed that the hot tub was out of commission, but Kerry was kind enough to reimburse part of our stay. The space is secluded and quiet, with quick walking access to a few shops and restaurants, and about a 20-25 minute drive to Woodstock. Out back there is also access to a nice (fairly easy) hike, which was a great way to spend a couple hours. The fire pit was perfect and there was a grill, but no charcoal. We also couldn't get the wifi working and we had very limited cell service, but that didn't bother us except for when we wanted to search for other hikes and directions. The cabin is beautiful and just as pictured. The bathroom was especially gorgeous! I'd definitely recommend Kerry's place to others. He was quick to respond to all of our questions, and incredibly welcoming. Thanks so much for having us!

                Great weekend escape!

We couldn't have had a more enjoyable time at Apple A Day! The house was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook and feel comfortable. The trees were in peak, and we took advantage of the weather by going on some great hikes to Balsam Lake Mountain and Adler Lake. Carole gave us some great recommendations for the the area and places to eat. We'd love to come back at some point!

                Perfect Autumn getaway!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this home! Everyone has already mentioned the inside style and size so I'll add some insight to the location. The home sits up on a hill overlooking a stream. We saw 2 deer close to the home in the morning as well as later in the day! Also seen during the week in the area...blue heron, fox, bald eagle, woodchucks, lots of wild turkeys, bunnies, pheasants and geese flying south. We visited many towns. Be aware that this areas Antique Stores are usually only open Thursday or Friday-Sun. On a rainy day we drove to Montecello to the casino and also visited Bethel and the Site of Woodstock where there is a very interesting museum. I could just feel the spirit of that time as we looked over the scenic hills! On the nice days we hiked the Catskills Scenic Rail trail and checked out the Windham Path on the day our muscles were sore. This was the perfect vacation! Thanks again Jerry!
