Amazing views with plenty to do.

This place is a complete hidden gem!! My girlfriend, dog and I went up for our anniversary and couldnt have been happier! When we arrived Marie greeted us offering to help us with our things and showing us around the property. This is a full house with a very well equipped kitchen fully furnished living and bedrooms with a huge basement/ rec room. Our favorite room in the house though was the screened in porch that over looked the lake. Marie and Kirk had everything set up on the beach that we would need ( firewood, boat, canoes , life vests ,etc). We loved how they were both there for any questions we had or help we needed but also let us enjoy their great cottage without interfering with our anniversary. And if your looking to get away from the cottage there are plenty of wineries, brewerys, restaurants and Watkins Glenn is just a short drive away. If you want a place to have great views, enjoy the water, and feel right at home but still on vacation this is your place! Thanks again Marie and Kirk we will definitely be back!

            Sparked memories

            4 of 5
It was so relaxing sitting on the deck to view the sunset, stars and water. Ducks and neighbors dogs stopped by to visit. The stairway down isn't for the faint of heart as it is steep but so worth the trip. We loved the cottage layout for two couples. We were not able to get on the cottage wifi but please note the owners were on vacation and we chose not to call the emergency number. We used our cell service when needed. Wish the aforementioned paddle boat had still been there as it would have been fun and offered a different lake view. We learned a lot about what to bring when renting... A new experience for us. A cheat sheet would be helpful! Walmart was close by. Local wineries, state park and kayaking were great day trips. Thank you for sharing your cottage. We were more relaxed than we have been for a long time. Reminded me of my grandparent's place in Adirondacks as a child.

Magical, Peaceful and Everything We Hoped For!

            5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at the lovely cottage on Seneca Lake. Our stay was restful, gorgeous, and the cottage was everything we hoped it would be. Adrian was prompt, professional and fantastic to communicate with. Words can't really express how magical a place this is. The house itself was cozy and felt like home to us for the short time we were there. So great to sit out on the porch and just watch the sunset, which we did every night while eating dinner. My husband is from the Fingerlakes region and even he was impressed! Great location for those wanting to explore the region (and the lovely wines therein). We had perfect weather for our stay. It was hot, so the added pleasure of being able to jump off the dock and go canoeing every morning was wonderful. The company Adrian recommend regarding the canoe rental was great (Regan's). We highly, highly recommend brunch, lunch or dinner at the Stonecate Cafe in Hector, which is very close to the cottage. We would highly recommend the cottage to anyone (friends family and those we don't know!). Expect, don't take our week...we are coming back! :)
