We spent 5 nights in the studio apt (private bath and kitchenette), on a sightseeing trip to NYC. We had never stayed in Harlem, and wondered about the safety and convenience of the area. No worries! The street was quiet and well-kept, with very little late night noise. The subway was a 5 minute walk away, and we walked the area after dark with no worries.
The apartment was small, but had everything we needed. We ate a cold breakfast every morning in the apartment, but took the rest of our meals out, so we did not need the kitchenette much. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was small but adequate. The apartment was clean, and had a quaint charm, and a real NY feel.
The owner Yvette was on site, and greeted us on arrival and when we left. She gave us great advice about where to eat and how to get around NYC.
We would stay here again.
