      Perfect relaxation getaway

      5 of 5
This was the second year going to this property and i have to say i was somehow more impressed then the first year. The owner is a wonderful guy who treats you with trust and respect and the property is incredible for the price. You will not find any other place matching these standards and price. Run down cabins with no amenities cost more than this place. The rooms are big and comfortable, the living room is big and cozy, the kitchen has plenty of space to cook and prepare, the patio is a nice spot to just sit and enjoy the silence, everything just perfect. We went with 12 people and every spot of the house is a perfect gathering area. I feel more comfortable there than i do in my own house. I look forward to making this yearly getaway with my wife and friends for a long time.

      A lovely, relaxing getaway!

We stayed the week of July 23 thru 31 and had a wonderful time! Our only complaint would be the poor lighting in the upstairs bath (difficult to see in the shower,) and the non-working ceiling fan in the loft. Franesa and her husband Bill, along with their children, were there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the home and property. The house is exactly as pictured and very well stocked.( I would recommend bringing coffee mugs though as the cups supplied are quite small.) It is a short drive to town, golf and the racetrack. We stayed with a group of longtime friends and made use of the home as if it were our own. We had all but one of our meals there and thoroughly enjoyed the large dining table and outside deck area. The kayaks were also put to good use as the weather was beautiful and warm. The lake was a quiet haven for relaxing and enjoying each others company. We are looking forward to next year hoping to return to this comfortable and cozy home. Thank you Franesa and Bill for sharing your lovely home with us!!
