This apartment was great value for the money! I love the quaint courtyard entrance and will have to come back to enjoy it in the summer. The apartment is basic, but it has everything you could need...fairly comfy double bed, bathroom with stand up shower, table to eat meals at, gas stove, fridge. And it was clean. Given that it was tucked away behind another building, it was quiet as well which was greatly appreciated after long days walking NYC. From the apartment's location, we walked to Chinatown, Soho, the Chelsea Market. Highly recommend walking the Highline...beautiful walk. If you're into flea markets/vintage stuff, Brooklyn has some great ones on Sundays. The location of this apartment is particularly great if you're on the younger side. We found when we went out looking for a pub to have a drink that everyone single one had people younger than 30-35. Even the people out and about on the street in the evening looked younger. Found every single person we met (shopkeepers, subway staff, police officers, random people we talked to on the street and on the trains, members of street acts) to be incredibly friendly! Can't say enough good things about the people of New York City! And when we come back, we'll look to stay here again!
