          Recent Cooperstown Reviews

Adorable home, close to local attractions

          4 of 5
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Milford Manor Farmhouse. The kids loved the playgrounds on the property and the adults loved the proximity to everything Cooperstown! Walking distance to Wilbur Park (which had another great playground) and the scenic tour train. The foliage Columbus Day weekend was simply phenomenal!! 5 stars for locality, 4 stars simply because a few (minor) things were broken in the house. The owners could not have been more accomodating, they were accessible and kind, even provided a pack n play so we didn't have to lug one for the baby which was much appreciated. We would stay here again.

          Elegant, comfortable apartment near Cooperstown

          5 of 5
We recently spent three nights in Tom's delightful apartment near Cooperstown and we enjoyed it very much. The apartment is elegant, welcoming and spacious; the kitchen is excellent; and the furniture--especially the bed and the two couches--is extremely comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing there in the evenings, cooking and reading (there is also a good TV, though we didn't try it). Tom was very responsive by email before our visit, answering a variety of questions; he also met us at the apartment shortly after our arrival to show us how everything worked. We enjoyed our interactions with him very much. The apartment is on a country road and is very quiet, but it's easy to get to Cooperstown. It was our first visit to the area and we particularly enjoyed the Fenimore Art Museum and Glimmerglass State Park, both of which are on Lake Otsego. Since we visited in September, we could get fresh cider and cider doughnuts; the Fly Creek Cider Mill is probably the best known in the area but we preferred the quieter Dyn's Cider Mill, which was less than 10 minutes from the apartment. Thanks, Tom, for a wonderful stay! We look forward to returning.

          Excellent on all accounts

This property is gorgeous and well maintained with attention to details. It did NOT have that musty rental smell, and the beds were fresh and comfortable. The set up worked well for our family and the family with whom we shared the space. We were in Cooperstown for the Dreams Park Tournament, and while the house was a few miles from the park, but we did not mind the drive at all. As a city dweller, I loved watching the stars at night and resting in a quiet environment.
