Fabulous weekend, and a gem of a place!

Well constructed home, excellent layout, and charming decor!!! We have stayed three other places in the Finger Lakes region, and this was by far my favorite! We had 8 girls total, so we did rent the "love shack" to accommodate everyone, but it was very comfortable overall. The Kitchen was on the smaller side, yet had every thing necessary for cooking meals. And as is stated in the other review, it is a ladder to get up to bird's nest, yet just put the youngest one(s) up there! If you have kids, they would love to sleep up there, absolutely charming! The beach is beautiful, and was perfect for us all to enjoy the moonlight and a fire multiple nights. This property shares with the other house built by the owner, yet it was very private and peaceful. The cleaning list prior to departure was just common sense- "clean up after yourselves." Excellent value, can't beat the accommodations for this price. And we already booked to come back!

      Quiet, relaxing, comfortable.

Three generations of family completely enjoyed this beautiful home. The house is spacious, clean and well maintained. All seven of us fit comfortably. The owner was forthcoming and helpful in every way. The sunset the first night was spectacular, and the beachfront was perfect for small children. We enjoyed the nearby wineries, brewery, and the Curtis Museum, but mostly 'hung out' and made wonderful memories.
