This was our third year renting this lovely property for the week. This year we had 4 generations and several visitors from the surrounding area for an afternoon. While there are stairs either up to the main level or down to the lower level the stairs are in good condition with rails. It was extremely hot but the breeze and in fans in every room kept us comfortable. Of course swimming in the pond helped too. We had plenty of room to cook, play indoor and outdoor games. The smaller kids found plenty of critters down by the creek and the adults had time to relax and enjoy. The property had room for kickball, croquet and there is a lined court for bad-mitten. We taught one of our newest members of the family how to fly a kite. We made two small trips while we were there; one to the Springville Flea / farmers market and auction on Wednesday and into Buffalo where we rented kayaks and explored the canals. One of the Dad's went to the nearby Grocery store ("Tops") and checked out "The Office" in while town but we chose to eat all meals at the house. Some did sneak away for some great ice cream about 10 minutes away.
We have gotten spoiled with the dishwasher, washer and dryer. The teenagers liked that they could sleep in since their bedrooms weren't too close the main living area. We used both the gas grill and the charcoal grill. The house has lots of room to sit down and eat as a family. We do not use the TV ( a great tradition started by our sister for this family week).
I would love to bring some of our Michigan friends here during the winter for skiing.
Peter is very responsive to all our questions and needs, everything was in great condition. The kitchen is well equipped.
