Quiet spot. Beautiful setting. Gracious host. Great food.

My husband and I recently stayed with Jude and his family on Lake Champlain. The B&B is a short, sandy path away from a large, sandy beach. Although we were only there for a night (we were seeing our daughter off to college), we found Jude to be a kind and gracious host. The room was quiet, secluded, well-appointed (comfortable bed, fridge, microwave and air conditioner) and clean. The bathroom was private, clean and efficient (shower, toilet and sink). Using the bathroom did require a short walk through the kitchen/eating area but it was never an issue for us because that area was never occupied when we went through it (The family is obviously adept at staying out of that space when guests are potentially using it). Jude provided us with suggestions and directions to some very good eating places in the area (We ate at ‘Livingoods’ restaurant and microbrewery, which was very good). The next day we enjoyed an early morning walk on beautiful Lake Champlain before a gourmet breakfast. We left shortly after that but not before discussing the B&B’s fall and winter availability. We will definitely be back.

                    Clean, beautifully decorated, wonderful hosts!

My husband and I stayed at the studio for a weekend. It was fantastic! Doug was there to greet us and kindly showed us around. They thought of everything! He also gave some great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The studio itself was very clean and beautifully decorated with an Adirondack theme! You will need a car to go places, but things aren't too far of a drive away. Very limited to no cell service in some of the spots but it is not too challenging to find service, especially at Doug and Cheryl's. Overall it was a wonderful trip and we hope to go back again! Thank you Doug and Cheryl!

                    Cozy Bear Den

Judy is a wonderful property owner who is always accepted a phone call and any questions. This property is so cozy and private. It was a wonderful place to enjoy a fabulous (mini) honeymoon with my husband. The Jacuzzi was a great touch and so relaxing. The large screen television and Direct TV was also a major treat compared to back packing in the ADK park. It was disappointing not to have a full kitchen to operate with, but we did utilize our camping gear and the grill. (Not to mention the wonderful restaurants in the area.) I would absolutely return to this vacation rental and recommend it to couples looking for privacy and relaxation.
