                            Fantastic Property!

My family and friends have annual, sometimes semi-annual, trips to beach houses - mostly in Cape May, NJ. We decided to venture up north this time around. So began our search and we found this great house with a pool close to Lake George. The booking process was quick and easy, Gary was easy to contact and quick to respond to the multitude of questions that I had for him prior to making the reservations. We arrived at the house and saw that it was in a cul de sac in a nice quiet neighborhood. Kids playing on the street were waving and welcoming us into the neighborhood. It was a nice, safe, quiet area that was surrounded by trees and nature - definitely a great place to escape the city. The house itself was very well taken care of, ample space for all my family and friends and a lot of things to keep us busy for the weekend that made us stay within the property the whole time. Kitchen was stocked with enough pots, pans, plates, glasses and utensils for everyone - dish washer, with soap provided, helped with keeping things clean for all 10 of us in the house after each meal. Each room that had a TV was well equipped and connected to cable TV. The bedrooms were very roomy, clean and comfortable. Mostly all of the rooms had a USB charger for your phones and other gadgets. The basement kept us indoors during the night hours with a pool table, ping pong, air hockey and fooseball. There are also two TV's in the basement that are Roku equipped so you can watch your favorite shows on Netflix and all the other popular providers out there. We lived out our Olympic ping pong fantasies in the basement during this weekend - sadly, nothing close to what you see on TV. Great heated salt water pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, fully fenced in back yard - all of which were very well kept and super clean. There's also a fire pit that came in handy for smores during the chilly night. We brought all of our food from the city but there are a few local grocery stores less than 5 minutes from the house, if you just want to do your food shopping locally. There's also a Stewarts in the same area where you can get firewood for the fire pit. We had an absolutely fantastic time and will definitely be back! We were told that the pool is closed in the winter months but the hot tub/jacuzzi stays open, and we might just end up spending all our time in the basement with some more ping pong or air hockey battles. Gary was a very gracious host and definitely ta

Lovely interior; house on a very busy street.

This house would be an excellent place for adults and teenagers. We wre able to access the village and hiking trails, as well as enjoy the outdoor space.

We had a wonderful time. The house is a great size for a group. I arranged the stay for my brothers, sisters and other relatives and received nothing but compliments. This is a wonderful, well cared for and well appointed family home. We enjoyed, the lake, the canoes, kayaks and even the foosball table. This did not feel like a sterile rental property, we felt like guests invited into a family home. We definitely plan to return.
