Great cabin up high in the mountain

                                        4 of 5
This place was great, and the owner's were so nice and helpful! It was clean and "new", and the owners really put thought into what their guests would like (like beer mugs in the freezer and plenty of toilet paper, just a couple of examples). The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook, and having free wifi really helps. The cabin has enough space for a family of 6 (it can actually sleep 10), and it has games, wii, and a fooseball table. The property is high up (about 20 min) into the mountain, but it's private. You don't get any sweeping views, but the night time stars are beautiful. The only issue we came across was that even though its private, there was still a lot of noise. The house alarm across the street kept going off at all hours of the day and night, all week long, and there is construction in the area, so we heard bulldozing every day. The owner's obviously have no control over that. This place was great!

Great home conveniently located in a beautiful setting

                                        5 of 5
Julie accommodated us on very short notice (1 day) and the house was great. Everything we needed to cook our own meals, very comfortable couches and bed (we only used the master bed). The outdoor grill was easy to use and a nice addition. Both we and our dogs enjoyed the porch for resting after our long morning walks with it having both shade and sun most of the day. Also nice to have access to the garage for our car. Very convenient location to all the essentials (less than 15 min walk to everything). The only thing that we wished was not absent, fortunately we brought a number of our own puppy towels, that would apply to visitors with dogs would be to have access to an outside hose to wash down our puppies paws as the mornings were quite dewy (but figure due to the winter freezing potential of an outside spigot it was a very minor inconvenience). Thanks for opening your home to us Julie and we definitely will check if you have availability for our next visit to Angel Fire!

                                        Perfect Getaway!

                                        5 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay in Angelfire. Everything you could possibly want from a cabin in the mountains was here! This is a well-kept property, private and spacious, with fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of room for my family to spread out in. I especially enjoyed the gas fireplaces--the house was so cozy and warm, without the hassle of lugging wood in from the cold. Julie went above and beyond, staying in contact for any questions or suggestions. She pointed us to great tacos in Taos, the little brewery in town, and so many great places to hike! I really appreciated her efforts to make sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. I have already recommended this cabin to friends and hope to make another trip out there again really soon!
