        This place is golden!

This sweet casita was so perfect! We arrived late in the evening and Britt was very accommodating. She left the lights on for us, which was necessary, as it was dark and located in the country. We walked through the gate into the courtyard and stood there with our mouths open, saying "Is this our house?" Well taken care of and very clean, this place has everything you might need for your stay. Comfy cozy furniture and fireplace, full kitchen and plenty of room. The views were awesome, with the Sandia mountains outside the front windows, beautiful morning sunshine and a look to the south in the morning to spy hot air balloons! Very private and quiet, with a few 'barks', which actually added to the peaceful, country feel. Britt was very helpful in showing us around the house, all the 'ins and outs'. The owners gave us our privacy but we're there if we needed anything. Beautiful art work inside and outside on the property. Beautiful open space. Nice location-cute town of Corralles, horses across the street, only 30 min into Albuquerque and close driving distance to outdoor activities and entertainment. We rode our bikes on the Bosque trail by the Rio Grande river and hiked at Petriglyphs Nat. monument, about 20 min away. Mountain biking in the Sandias-40 min drive. Plenty more to explore. The only caution I would give is to watch the beams in the upstairs bedroom loft. They are low, but if you can remember and not hit your head, it's quite nice up there. If I get another opportunity to stay here, I will! Absolutely loved it and have been telling all my friends about it. Britt, thank you so much for offering this lovely place.

-Very clean -Had everything we needed - we prepared Christmas dinner there! -Walk to downtown -Huge yard Contrary to a previous reviewer's statement about lack of dining space - one of the small tables she mentioned extends out. We had guests over for Christmas dinner and sat 8 at the one table and had plenty of room. A great time was had by all!
