My fiancé and I stayed here for four days over Memorial Day weekend. This bungalow is right on Wesley lake, steps away from the pedestrian bridge that brings you into Asbury Park. It is walking distance from everything you could want- the beach and boardwalk are right up the road, Ocean Grove is a quiet little town, and Asbury Park is full everything from coffee shops, little boutiques, art galleries, restaurants/bars, the Stone Pony, and fun things to try for the kids. We took a paddle boat ride, went to an all night pinball arcade, found our new favorite coffee (Dutch coffee from America's Cup!), tried a bunch of restaurants, caught an indie movie at a great little theater, and of course spent some time down at the beach. We loved being able to explore the town, and we really loved having a place that felt like home to head back to after. Having a kitchen meant enjoying cooking breakfast in the morning and the washer/dryer meant we didnt have to think twice about extending our stay an extra day. Plus I loved relaxing and reading in the sun room overlooking the lake. The bungalow had plenty of room for the two of us, the privacy we wanted, and everything we needed to make it comfortable. Jenine and Jimmy were very nice whenever we ran into them. We chatted about the best places to eat and Jenine even gave me a piece of StitchWitch to fix my dress that I had ripped. I will warn anyone reading that parking can be a bit tricky at first. It didn't matter to us though because once we parked our car we never needed to move it all weekend! It was really cool that it was walking distance from everything that Asbury Park has to offer, but still let us step back and enjoy the calm and quiet of Ocean Grove. It really was a perfect little hideaway and we had a great time. We look forward to going back!
