Lovely quaint cottage right on the lake

The stone turtle house is beautiful. The Japanese design is truly lovely. And the location is fantastic. The only thing I would say is the space is small– my 6 foot tall husband and son bumped their heads a couple of times… this is a wonderful place to stay for a family or small group who are comfortable sleeping on futons.

Great location for seeing the New England states

Cabin was very clean. Bed's very comfy. Couch could have been more comfy. Coffee pot needs to be replaced. Cabin within a days visit to any of the New England states. Northwoods Diner is an excellent place for breakfast within a 15 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this cabin for a peaceful/quiet stay.

Charming and romantic! We'll be back!

This is just what my boyfriend and I were looking for for our weekend getaway. This place is completely off the beaten path, it's beautiful and secluded, with plenty of hiking trails to explore. Old fields and basketball courts are an occasional reminder of the 80's summer retreat it once seemed to be. The Bower Cabin is charming and romantic. This is a great place for a couple who wants to kick back, enjoy the surroundings, and perhaps go for a quiet canoe ride at sunset with the loons.
