          Beautiful, well appointed home

          5 of 5
The house comfortably fit 14 pond hockey players for the pond hockey classic. We had a great time at the house. We were able to cook large dinners each night and made use of the grill to cook up steak tips from the Wine'ing Butcher. The house has been renovated and is quite beautiful. One of the best features were the beds and pillows. Hands down the most comfortable house for sleeping. Each room had towels and soaps for each guest which was a nice touch. Kitchen was stocked with basic ingredients and cooking implements. Living room has a large TV. Cable channels were limited but we were able to use the smart TV features and use our Netflix/Amazon/HBO accounts to stream shows and movies. Also, the house had wifi and we were provided the password prior to check in. Rachel, the owner, was super communicative and easy to work with. Her responses were always fast and she was very friendly and helpful. She also left us a welcome message which was really sweet.

Glorious property on a hill above a quiet cove on Squam Lake

          5 of 5
We had a family reunion holiday at Autumn Acres for two weeks, in the main house and the nearby cottage. The house and cottage were immaculate, and we were assisted by a very nice housekeeper and outside handyman. The property is extremely well kept and equipped with everything needed to enjoy the lake, the house and all manner of vacation activities. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances and and attractive cooking, dinner and serving materials. Rather than roughing it on the lakeside, we felt indulged in a beautiful property in a glorious setting. The property is accurately described on the website, was clean and very well maintained, and every issue, however, small, was quickly addressed by our host. The property is only a short distance from shops and entertainment but still very quiet and secluded from commercial development or other properties. We would definitely recommend this property and would readily return.

A magical place -- I can't wait to come back again

I have to tell you I looked like a real hero to my wife and friends when I picked out this place and brought them here as a surprise. As soon as we pulled up to the place my wife had a huge smile on her face. The farm house is beautiful, there is an amazing view of the lake, and we had so much fun just walking around the area and checking really connecting with nature. Inside the house we felt warm and cozy, the bedrooms were very accommodating and with updated bathrooms we cleaned off nicely after swimming and playing around at the beach near by. At night we relaxed on the porch and listened to the sounds of nature, drank a little wine and really got away from the real world for a while ...
