              Late Fall Getaway

Cindy and Gary are wonderful hosts. The property is nicely located on the lake. Our cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We look forward to a return trip sometime in the future.

The nostalgic feel and beauty of the property was beyond our expectations.

We were delighted by Colonial Pines from the minute we saw the cluster of charming white cabins set amid a stand of tall pines on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. The nostalgic feel and beauty of The Lodge was beyond our expectations. Our bedroom was very comfortable and charmingly decorated with a beautiful view of the lake and mountain from our front window. Cindy and Gary could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and accommodating hosts. We look forward to a return visit.

I wish there were 6 stars to give!

Our two families of four, with children ages 7-12, had a relaxing and memorable time at Martha's in Gilford. There was more than enough space so we never once felt crowded. The house was warm, welcoming and charismatic. Martha even left a few things in the refrigerator to get us started and fresh flowers and champagne to celebrate our triathlon, which started a few miles away(Elacoya State Park). The only negative was having to leave. We would love to stay at Martha's again, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!
