        Destination Wedding

This is a beautiful, classic New England property. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable "home base" for our daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect for our married kids. Great privacy for them at night, yet very inviting family space during the day. We had family dinners in the classic dining room, entertained extended family in the sun room and huge kitchen, and got endless compliments from our visitors on what a stunning find this house was. This house has it all and more, with mountain views as an incredible bonus.

        Wedding Weekend Family Retreat

        5 of 5
Stunning views, beautiful HUGE house with tons of SPACE for everyone and something for everyone to do. I booked the Cobb Hill Estate for my family to stay at during my wedding (which was hosted elsewhere nearby, but it turns out Cobb Hill is perfectly situated to host weddings also!). Within one day of arrival, my parents had decided they want to come back for another stay - and they can't stop raving about the property. It is quiet and set away but close enough to all the hustle and bustle of Boston and Manchester (it's about a 1.5/1.75 hour drive to Boston) - well worth the trip. The house is large, with each room featuring it's own in-suite bathroom - this was wonderful as my parents, my sister (her husband and infant), my Maid of Honor, and I each were able to have our own private insular space. There is so much space for casual relaxing and so many different rooms. The owner's communication is prompt, clear, and concise. We were not bothered during our stay and were able to unwind and relax from some very long days. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

A Trip We Will Never Forget!

        5 of 5
We spent 4 September days in Jaffrey with our immediate family for a special occasion. Based on the pictures and reviews, we were expecting the house and property to be amazing and our expectations were far exceeded. The views are truly indescribable but I will try my best. Mountains for as far as you can see dotted with splashes of orange and red. The sight lines only get better as you get to the roof deck on the top floor. The house was immaculate and filled with more charm and character than you can dream of. Plenty of space for our large family to be comfortable and to get away if need be. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean and a great place to relax when you weren't shooting pool or playing bocce. The grounds were peaceful and serene. Tons of space to run around, explore the trails or simply enjoy a New England fall day. To top it off - the only thing more enjoyable than the house was dealing with Doug. He made sure our stay was everything we hoped it would be and more. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and had every question answered. Our only regret was that we didn't book this house for longer!
