We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and absolutely recommend it. We were six adults for 4 nights and it fitted the bill; we would have happily stayed longer.
It's very well situated for exploring Delft; you feel fully immersed in the life of the town. We spent part of our stay living in the house as if it were our own - preparing meals, chilling out, having friends round - and, well, we just felt right at home. The equipment is good, there's plenty of space and it's comfortable. Frankly, it's very good value for money.
You have to be agile at climbing stairs, as like in many older Dutch townhouses there are lots and they're steep. All was OK for us. Just hold on to the hand rails!
Everyone slept well, there's no need to worry about the chiming of the church bells, which are in any case toned down and charmingly melodic. For the sleeping arrangements; there's one double bedroom and another room containing two individual beds on the top floor; (the kitchen/living room is on the second floor, as are the main bathroom and separate toilet); and on the first floor, there's one sofa bed in the lounge and one double bed in an alcove at the back of the house. The alcove wasn't very warm (in November) but those who slept there liked it that way.
Lindsay and Ferdinand were very helpful, both in organising our stay and arrival - very efficiently - as in helping out with the few questions we had once in Delft.
We'd go again - so that sums it up, really.
