          Recent East Amsterdam Reviews

The location was awesome. Beautiful, rural countryside with picturesque sheep, horses and windmills

          4 of 5
It was very good. Loved the concept of the converted cow she'd in the countryside. From the photos, expected grassy areas just outside the place where we could sit and hang out, and that wasn't the case. Loved walking in the country seeing picturesque houses, farms, baby sheep, ccattle, horses. The walk to Weesp was great, and the small town a real treat to see.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely setting

          5 of 5
My 6-year-old son and my parents and I had a really wonderful time staying here. The apartment itself is a work of art -- all built by the owners, and every detail is thoughtful and interesting. We liked just spending time in it relaxing and playing cards or reading or talking. We slept well in the great beds and cooked good meals in the kitchen. The whole property and surrounding area is lovely. Melanie and Paul are very welcoming and friendly and gave us good advice on places to see. Weesp, which is just a few minutes away by bike or car, is quiet and pretty, and we made several day trips to interesting spots (Marken, Den Hague). We loved staying here, and recommend it highly!
