        Dream Vacation Spot

        5 of 5
This home is everything it is described and pictured to be and there is no way that those words or pictures can do it justice. A beautiful blend of luxury and comfortable homey feel. "Clean" even seems to be an understatement. Not a speck of dust or thing out of place; surfaces gleamed and linens were soft and fresh. So much house and not a spot that wasn't in pristine condition. The property manager Rich was fantastic to deal with in booking. So accommodating and helpful. Very quick to respond and personable. It made booking this rental not only easy but also it made us feel comfortable and confident that everything would go well. The property caretaker Rob went above and beyond in personal attention to detail and 24/7 text access to assist or availability to come over while we were on the trip if any issues came up. From the office staff, to the cleaning staff to the management team the Mullet Lake Home staff is top notch, professional and personable. They personify everything that is wonderful about mid western hospitality. The home is perfect for all four of Michigan's four seasons. I would not hesitate to recommend it. So much so that it is one of those great finds that you want to tell everyone about, while at the same time home it stays available for the next time you will want to book. It is one of those special places you do not want to visit only once. The home is a resort. You would not ever have to leave it. BUT, there is so much to do and such a wide variety of things and places that are a close drive that it is hard to choose. Absolutely easy to get to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, Tunnel of Trees on M 119, Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Cheboygan, viewing the elk herd, ...right there in Indian River there is the Cross in the Woods, and the awesome rafting/tubing adventures down the Au Sable river. So close to so many great State Parks. Close to skiing and snowmobiling. There is just an endless variety of options from this locale. Not to even mention having a boat or other equipment on this great lake. Mullet lake is fabulous and part of the Inland Waterway which is Michigan's longest chain of rivers and lakes. It is WOW! Our group found this place to be ideal for our get together. The kitchen was great spot to be the hub and heart of all our fun making it even more like home. I could go on.... but I will tell you this. Your look is over. Stop and call Rich and book now! This is a not to be missed vacation opportunity!

        Great Family Memories

        5 of 5
The Crooked Lake Home was very clean and spacious for our 4 families There were more than enough beds to accommodate our large group and all of the beds were very comfortable. The grand kids enjoyed the large loft area where they were all able to sleep in the same room. There's a large lawn for yard games and we took nightly walks and bike rides throughout the neighborhood. There are plenty of nearby attractions as well. We visited Burt Lake Beach, Cross in the Woods, Mackinaw City and St. Ignace Mystery Spot. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The sunsets were beautiful. Thank you!

We stayed here for 7 days and loved this home and location. It had everything we needed including fishing poles. Wish we could have enjoyed water tubing as there were those too. The manager was most helpful and kind. Thanks for all the nice amenities! Very clean, updated and inviting. We will be back for sure!
