We (20-30-something couple) stayed in the yurt for a cool rainy 3 day weekend in October. We stayed plenty warm with the wood fired stove in the evenings and had friends from Kalamazoo over for dinner. The murphy bed was super comfortable and convenient, folding up for socializing space. Then there is the lofted bed and 2 couches (on which I took a comfortable nap) providing sleeping space for 6 total. There really is no cell service (Sprint & Verizon) at or around the yurt, even on the surrounding roads several minutes in any direction. It was refreshing to truly unplug for the weekend. We communicated through landlines and listened to the radio and played cards for entertainment (there is a nice-looking TV but we never turned it on). Print out directions to the places you'll want to go because it will be difficult with GPS. I ended up finding a pharmacy on the main stretch of Lawton before I got any reception to find one on my phone. Really, it was an adventure and I loved it. We will be back, and hopefully the weather will cooperate to use the fire pit!
