            Dream Stay

            5 of 5
We just returned from our Bass Lake vacation at Trudy's house and it absolute perfection! The house was perfect for two small families with small children and our dog. The beach at her house had so much to do for all ages - a fire pit, swing, sandy beach for kids to play, 2 docks for fishing, and the unusual find of free kayaks and small pontoons to be used throughout the week. The property has ample space with a garage and guest house for people to spread out. It was clean, and Trudy was easy to work with. This home is a special place.

            Exceeded expectations!

            5 of 5
Imagine our delight when we walked into this house after a long drive and a full day of winery tours. I knew it looked promising from the pictures but let me tell you, they don't even come close to showing the true beauty of this home. We felt as if we'd been invited to stay at friends luxury house instead of the typical rental house one might expect. I'm just sorry we weren't able to enjoy it longer. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with cooking supplies, china, glassware and just about anything you would have in your own home and all of those items were high quality - no melamine dishes and mismatched cheap silverware in these cabinets! The furniture and decor has a cozy yet contemporary feel. Beds were all very comfortable with high quality linens. My husband and I were lucky enough to get the master suite which is huge and has a full wall of windows overlooking the bay. Luxury master bath with a gigantic walkin shower. Large walk-in closet. We really felt that all of the bedrooms were lovely - the other bedroom on the main floor is basically a mini master suite. It was the perfect situation for our group of 6 (3 couples) with each couple able to have their own bathroom but the house will definitely accommodate more people than that if needed. Pleasant upper deck area right off the main living room with a lower deck down near the water and even though there are neighbors to both sides, the setting is still very private due to the landscaping. We also loved the screen porch. I can't say enough about how accommodating the rental company was. Great communication and very professional. All in all, we had a great time and would come back here in a heartbeat! I hope the owners are lucky enough to always have courteous guests who will respect this property because it certainly does not feel like a rental!

christmas 2007 in traverse city, michigan

            5 of 5
we spent our 2007 christmas vacation at the house. we had a beautiful white christmas. the house is beautiful. the view of the lake. the snow covered pine trees. the big beautiful windows in the living room allowed us to display our fresh cut 10' blue spruce christmas tree. the trip to downtown traverse city was very convenient and quick. we loved our stay and will be back again.
