                    Wonderful stay

                    4 of 5
Our experience at Saddle Lake was very pleasant. The home is nice and despite the age, is fun and well-kept. The large room with all of the twin beds was a fun place for our kids to sleep and it was decorated in a cute way. The foosball table was a plus. The pontoon was a lot of fun and ran great. We loved that there were sand toys available for the kids. Jim, the property manager, was nice and very helpful. He was around a lot, which we did not mind. Our only issue was that a tornado touched down 1/4 mile from the house and there was no warning. We were relieved to be safe but we had a power outage for 12 hours. No one is to blame but it made for a long day and night. Overall, we recommend this property to anyone looking for a great family get-away on a lake with a fun beach and lots of space.

Great place with water activities to accommodate families of all ages.

                    5 of 5
Impresed the minute we walked through the door. The property is nicely decorated. Evident that a decorator was involved. Awesome sports memorabilia throughout. Kids loved the hot tub, kayaks, pontoon boat with the water slide off the roof deck, jumping off the boat roof deck, playing beach volleyball, fishing off the docks. Plenty of small fish so kids can have fun redeeming in fish. I couldn't bait the hooks with bread or cheese fast enough. Unless you want to fish for bass (14 inch plus keepers in the lake) you don't need bait for the little ones to enjoy catching fish. Evenings were nice to relax in the backyard either dining on the deck or making s'mores with the kids over the camp fire. So close to South Haven (15 minutes local driving) or Saugatuck (20 minutes on highway) if you want to visit. The family has so much fun at the house and beach that we didn't even feel the need to leave the property. The only thing I wish the property had was firmer mattresses because of my recent lumbar fusion I prefer to sleep on firmer mattresses. The property manager Jim was great to deal with. Answered any question even regarding local things to do. Was accessible due to his proximity to the property. Nicest guy you will ever meet. The owner Dana was very kind as well. Great bargain for what everything we got. We will definitely be coming back for years to come. Awesome family memories to remember for a long time.

Our Favorite Holland House So Far!!

                    5 of 5
My extended family and my own have been visiting Holland every summer for many years. We have typically stayed on the South side of Macatawa but were looking for a slightly larger house this year. The Lilley Pad fit the bill perfectly for our July 4th getaway! With 4 different families, 10 adults and 2 kids, we had just the right amount of space and never felt crowded. We enjoyed the proximity to Tunnel Park and to Holland State Park, and downtown Holland was just a short drive away. After a day of beach and/or shopping, we were happy to return "home" for dinner and the fire pit. The 5 bedrooms were all wonderfully accomodating, and with 3 bathrooms no one was ever waiting. Having the garage to store our beach stuff was invaluable, as I have stayed at other properties where the garage is off-limits. The neighborhood was fantastic with many people out and about all week. My 10-year-old could not get enough air hockey, foozball and ping pong. Many, many great family memories were created during our week at the Lilley Pad and we look forward to a return visit in 2017! Thank you, Dan and Dorene!!
