Very relaxing and a beautiful location!

Our entire family stayed with us at Dad's Cabin and we hope to return! Steve was very welcoming and friendly and as has been mentioned in other reviews, they brought a large plate of homemade cookies by during our stay. I think they lasted all of 10 minutes once we returned home. :) The cabin is in a beautiful location, and to sit out on the deck over looking the river is very peaceful! It is not far from whatever you may want to do. We were able to go to Grand Haven for a day at the beach, and drive a short 35-minute drive back to a peaceful off the beaten track home that did not break the bank to stay there! On our next visit, we will be making time to canoe down the river. It looked like loads of fun as we watched other go by. My family has already decided that we would like to make it an annual trip.

          Charming Cozy Cottage

          5 of 5
We had a nice one week stay at this adorable little lakefront cottage on the northeast side of Brower Lake! My hubby and I plus our 14 year old daughter loved scooting around on the paddle-boat (provided) and air mattresses on the lake. The water was clean and warm and had a nice amount of boats and jet skis. We brought our bicycles and found Luton Park a nice area for mountain biking (including beginner trails). White Pine trail is a paved gem that is bike/blade/walk-able and goes for miles. It was great to pedal, then head back for a dip in the water before enjoying dinner on the deck overlooking the lake. Hummingbird visitors were a joy to watch as they came by the feeder. Very neat! Nancy

A nice little house with plenty to do!

My family and I stayed almost two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. The lake was nice for swimming and fishing from the boat was fun too. The only thing that would have made the trip better would have been a small fire pit, but besides that the trip was awesome.
