My family and I really enjoyed this beautiful cabin... it was very clean, well stocked, comfortable and roomy. We most enjoyed the big, beautiful kitchen (good quality appliances and extras) and especially the hot tub, it was very clean and worked great. It would have been uncomfortable if not for the air conditioning. There is no Wi-Fi, but that's not a bad thing to us and the direct tv. was great for entertaining when relaxing or during down times.
The cabin is centrally located in the upper peninsula so we were able to enjoy going north to Pictured Rocks and Newberry as well as making several trips into Curtis. The campground manager, Randy that we checked in with was really nice, very friendly, helpful and so willing to help with anything we might need. It's a little bit of a drive to get to the campground where the available boat is located, but we knew that ahead of time. They also had a very nice pontoon we could rent and since we had 6 people we chose to do that. The only negative things I would say would be that the cabin is close to the road so you do hear cars and trucks going by at all hours (though with the air conditioning on we didn't hear it when inside). The yard isn't as big as we thought and it's on a slope going down to the river, which is kind of difficult to access if you were thinking of swimming or fishing. The Seney Wilderness Refuge is just up the street and was really nice, we drove through several evenings to check out the wildlife, which isn't much other than birds and beavers, but we enjoyed the relaxing drive. Be prepared to drive to get anywhere in the upper peninsula, don't expect a lot of souvenir shops or grocery stores. There is a convenient
corner grocery store in Germfask that has the basics you'll need as well as a really nice campground right up the road with some souvenirs and canoe/kayak rentals (Northland outfitters-very nice people).
