This is a lovely house just enough away from town.

          4 of 5
We stayed at this spacious Casa in February and March 2015 and loved our stay. With the covered patio area and the great BBQ we virtually lived outside. The view from the pool is out across the town and the bay. The position of the house up the hill makes it cooler in the evening. We walked into town every day. It was a great experience to shop at the fruit and veg market, the butcher shop, the fish market for fresh seasonal food. Also little "mini supermarkets". Lots of restaurants in town. Some fun nighttime entertainment in local restaurants. You can walk to La Penita and bus or taxi for low rates if you need transportation. Beautiful glass and tile art in the house. A great place to holiday.

          Wonderful, relaxing Casa Azul

          5 of 5
After originally inquiring about Casa Roja, we made the decision to rent Casa Azul at the last minute and it was truly a great choice. The house is huge and beautifully decorated, with individual balconies for each room and a large living space. The whole house was clean and very well maintained and the pool was always the perfect temperature. On day two, our group was already discussing when we would like to return. We had breakfast at Luna Luna (Morelos 11, Bucerias, Nayarit, on the corner of Lazero Cardenas and Morelos) each morning and I would highly recommend eating there multiple times to sample from the delicious (and large!) menu - the sopes con huevos and toritas de papa got rave reviews all around. Such lovely service and a beautiful setting only sweetened the deal. Just further down Morelos, toward the beach, you'll find Danny at his Taco Box. Buy some cervezas at the corner store and plonk down at the little table and chairs for some really tasty tacos and a chat (Danny speaks both English and Spanish and very graciously helped us to do so too). Horse riding at Rancho Capomo was a fun activity for our group- our guide was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, funny and made a big effort to draw the group together and ensure everyone had a good time. Included in our riding package was a sit down lunch and drinks. The lunch was a range of fairly traditional Mexican dishes, beautifully presented and very moreish. We were treated to a taste of the tequila that Rancho Capomo produce, and I even learned how to make tortillas with some of the women in the kitchen. To anyone thinking of holidaying in Bucerias, I would highly recommend staying at Casas De Los Colores. All in all, our vacation was relaxing and delightful - Casa Azul was the perfect backdrop to a great trip.

          Outstanding Villa

          5 of 5
We had a fantastic time in Bucerias. Casa Azul provided first class accommodations in every respect for our family of 6 (kids aged 6 & 9, parents, and grandparents). The location is convenient for exploring everything that Bucerias and the surrounding area has to offer - a short (2 minute) stroll to the beach, restaurants, corner shop, and close to the market square. For venturing further afield, the local bus system is reliable and inexpensive - we rented a car for the first day to get from the airport & pick up groceries from the Mega supermarket - a 5 minute drive; otherwise used buses and the occasional taxi). The house is just as described: spacious rooms, a roof-top palapa, modern amenities, warm pool, wireless internet access (including VOIP phone), and satellite TV. The property was extremely clean, well-maintained, and safe (locking gate and wall provided privacy). Property managers were on-hand to deal with any issues (of which there were none), and the owners provided excellent service. We would stay here again and recommend the place to others. It would make a great place for a larger group or 2 families if Casa Azul and the adjoining Casa Roja properties were rented together.
