Beautiful view and comfortable Peninsula Condo 3R

5 of 5
We stayed at Peninsula Condo 3R for 6 weeks and enjoyed every moment. We also had several guests during that period, all of whom were enchanted with the area, the condo, and the view. The view from the balcony is fabulous, and the condo is spacious. It had all of the necessities including a Weber Grill. We recommend asking the property manager to provide propane for the grill which is hard to find anywhere. We tried Walmart, Home Depot, and Mega Commercial and some hardware stores before asking her. She procured it for us for the cost of the propane and a nominal fee to cover her fuel to drive and get it. Large water container can be purchased at reception. Knowing that we had small children arriving, they thoughtfully provided a Pack N Play and High Chair. The property manager recommended a cleaning person to us and so we contacted her and negotiated a weekly fee. She came in after her day job - after 5PM. The cleanings were thorough and quick. The owner and property manager were quick to fix the two issues we had. The coffee maker was replaced same day as the existing one wasn't working properly and there was a slight problem with the garbage disposal which was fixed within a few hours. Plaudits and accolades on the wonderful care provided to ensure our comfort. There is construction going on next door but honestly it starts late enough and ends early enough that it was never an issue for us. The pool area for this condo is fabulous and weekdays there are no issues finding a seat with an umbrella. On the weekends however it was sometimes a problem, as there weren't enough for everyone. The condo is beautifully situated between Paradise village, and Bucerias and is a short taxi or bus ride to both and/or Puerto Vallarta. It is directly on the RIU bus line which makes it very convenient. Restaurants nearby are wonderful. Our family voted Fajita Republic as their favorite. Gotta try those after the Tequila flame dies down. The Peninsula complex offers a spa, gym and cinema. We did not use them as we got more than enough exercise walking the beach and the route to Bucerias ( we preferred walking there rather than taking the bus) On a more average note...There is restaurant service on the weekends only for breakfast and brunch/lunch. The food is fine but not inspired, they did not have rum for drinks on multiple occasions and the service is average. Cost is reasonable. We loved this complex and this condo and definitely hope to be back some day
