        Terrific apartment, ammenities and location

        5 of 5
This apartment was a terrific place to stay. The property was meticulously maintained from the secluded driveway, flowering shrubs and garden outside, to the details of the interior including everything you might want or need for your stay. It was a short walk to the bay-side shore were we walked way out at low tide or to see the sun set over the bay in the evening, or getting onto the Cape Cod Rail Trail just down the road, or going to the super market just down the road. The location is great to see Cape Cod bay or the Atlantic beaches, many light houses, the towns of Wellfleet or Provincetown.

        Exquisite Place

        5 of 5
From the moment we stepped out of the car and entered the property through the exotically fragrant box hedge we knew we had arrived in a special place. Perched near the edge of a protected salt marsh estuary, the Captain’s House and grounds is a perfect combination of serene location, appropriate design with a subtle aesthetic, and gorgeous sunsets washing in over the marsh filtered through the wooded grounds. There are well placed seating areas throughout the property upon which to relax and soak in the lush ecosystem and, better still, there’s a network of serene nature trails intersecting the property that wind through the hills and pine forests and out onto the marsh. The house itself is a lovely combination of the antique and the modern: wide pine plank floors, curious nooks and crannies to discover, yet bright, clean and all beautifully curated with a veritable wunderkammern of unique artworks, old books and other objects to constantly surprise and delight the eye. Every inch of the place has been lovingly tended with an aesthetic that only gradually reveals itself as you experience the house and grounds over a number of days. We were a large group (9) so we rented both houses. Both properties were well stocked, comfortable and clean, and Sasha is a responsive host who was available whenever we had a question to ask. Highly Recommended.
