                      Excellent value for the money!!

We have been coming here for the last few years with two other families. You simply can't find a better value than staying here when visiting the Cape. It's centralized to just about anything you would want to do or see while on vacation. The cottages are various sizes to accommodate different size families. The cottage is always cleaned each week before you arrive and has just about everything you need to enjoy your stay. I always look forward to using the outdoor showers with the crisp morning air (there are indoor showers for those that require it). Nothing is more relaxing than sitting around the campfire in the evening with the kids making s'mores and meeting other families from different regions. We actually forget that we are on the Cape as there's a feeling of camping in the woods with the only noise coming from whatever we make (which we do admittedly make a lot). Audrey and her family have always been very friendly and open. They are always quick to answer any problem or request you may have. They have always taken time out of their never ending and very busy days to talk with us. I think some people are too critical when reviewing these cabins. These are not meant to be like staying at the Radisson or another high-end hotel. People have to realize these cabins bring families a little closer together with nature as well as each other. They are not perfect. They are small and quaint - they are meant to be this way. Another way of thinking about it - these are a few steps above camping. You are in the woods. You are going to have to deal with bugs. Wi-Fi does exist, but is not that great - but isn't being on vacation synonymous with unplugging from everyday life?? And yes - you will have to wash your own dishes. Simply put - you will not find a better value for the money than staying here while on the Cape. So leave your high-end expectations at home and learn to relax and enjoy yourself and your family.

This spot was a perfect retreat for our family:)

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin an had an incredible week. For us, this location struck the perfect balance of being remote and connected. We had no wifi--and liked it that way. We could walk down to a sandy spot by on the pond where our kids could swim and play and we could park beach chairs and read, or pile into the canoe for an adventure. It was also nice to drive into town once a day for dinners out, shopping, walks or visits to public beaches. The cabin is rustic, the view of the pond is amazing and peace surrounded by those woods is just perfect.

Don't expect frills here, but if love great views and the beauty of Chappy, then this is the spot for you.
