We had a family vacation here recently and we all (7 adults, an 8-year old, and a 10 month old) fit comfortably in the space. The safari bedroom and the twin-beds room are downstairs with a bathroom that has a large walk-in shower. The green bedroom (available with a crib) is upstairs and has an air mattress bed (the raised kind) that my sister and brother-in-law said was comfortable. The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination. We were able to set up an air mattress in the office area, and would have been able to put another one downstairs. It's hard to find a home with enough sleeping space and the right set up of rooms so I was very pleased.
The living room has a wall of windows (and a great, huge couch) and overlooks the lake. We enjoyed the hammock set up right near the water, and a few of us enjoyed the kayak's and paddleboards. My brother-in-law caught a few fish (and released them) off the dock. One night we had a campfire and made s'mores.
There was a lot of counter space in the kitchen, and they have a dishwasher. The downside was that there are only two chairs at the square table - but we were all able to eat together in the living room because there is a lot of space there. We re-washed the dishes before we used them because some of them were a little grimy, but I'm not sure that's the homeowners problem as much as the people who stayed there last. Overall the home was pretty clean (not sparkling, but good) and you can tell he's still doing some renovations to improve the space.
Fantastic stay - very relaxing home to sit back, relax and catch up. Oh - you absolutely have to visit Rota Spring Farm and get their ice-cream. Seriously the best ice-cream you'll ever eat in your life.
