            Perfect Welfleet getaway

            5 of 5
I loved this little cottage so much it's hard to know where to begin! It was immaculate! Cleaner than my own home and I'm pretty tidy! The space was thoughtfully and beautifully appointed. The colors were at once cheerful and soothing. It was far from the madding crowd of the Cape and you can still get to restaurants and shopping quickly if you want to. The location is convenient to going to the ponds and the shore, often allowing you to completely bypass the craziness of Rte 6. Bound Brook beach is all you'll ever need for the perfect Cape Cod beach experience and you can bike there! The owners were friendly and helpful without being hovering or intrusive. I liked that! All in all, it was a great experience and a great value. I'd go back again in a heartbeat.

Great spot for a young family's beach vacation

            5 of 5
Our family had a wonderful stay at the barn. We took a one week vacation with our 6 and 8 year old daughters. The accommodations were just perfect for the kids. It has an old English garden cottage feel. We slept up in the loft while the kids slept on the daybeds. The first floor is all open which was a big plus for our family. The inside is rustic, but very cozy and comfortable. Other amenities include a deck with a grill. The outdoor shower was a lot of fun. We never showered inside. In addition, the girls loved the hammock. A plus is the farm stand at the end of the driveway. We ate fresh salads every night. Internet did not come in very well in the barn, but just outside by the outdoor shower it came in. This worked well for us. We'd look up things to do or places to go, but weren't constantly checking. So this was a plus for us. The barn is a mile and a half from Longnook beach. Longnook is beautiful, but the water is colder and the waves bigger. We headed to Corn Hill beach on the bay side. That was perfect for our kids, and also gorgeous with views of Provincetown. We had bought a week parking pass for Truro beaches for $60. It's a worthy investment for a family. There are a number of Truro beaches. Additionally, we headed to Provincetown a few times during the week. That was just a quick drive up route 6. Overall, the barn made for a great spot for our family vacation. We plan on returning!

            Magical week

            5 of 5
I almost don't want to write a review because I want this place to be a secret so I can come back every year without any competition. The barn is magical. You feel it's bohemian, artistic past the minute you walk in. It's decorated beautifully and is not a fussy or tacky beach decor that so many are. My friends and I cooked big family-style dinners, drank wine, laughed, and made art here. It's perfect gathering place. We saw rabbits, foxes, and turtles in the dunes and sat under the stars on the deck at night. The barn is good for the soul. Thank you for sharing it with us!
