Enjoyed the holiday in this very comfortable home on the water in Annapolis. A short ten minute ride from the city center, this chalet had lots of indoor and outdoor space for our family of five. The owners, Marilyn and Mike, were a joy to work with! To call them accommodating is an understatement! We stayed at this house over Christmas and it rained our entire stay. Fortunately for us, the temps were so mild that we were able to sit outside on the large deck between storms to enjoy the water views. The property is nestled into a cove making it very peaceful. I imagine in the warm seasons, fishing off the dock and watching the boats head out to the bay would occupy most of your time! And the house itself is spacious enough for everyone to have their own space on a rainy day! The large loft area, with beautiful water views, allowed for some to read quietly while others screamed at the football games on the tv downstairs. The first floor living area has a wall of glass with hypnotic views of the water. Loved the gas fireplace in the living room! It took the chill out of the air in the early morning coffee hour. The spacious master bedroom had a sitting area that created yet another personal space to seek out peace and quiet if needed...did I mention it has a beautiful view of the water? We cooked most of our meals so the open layout of the home allowed us to cook in the kitchen and still feel included in conversations in the living areas as well. We did enjoy a nice lunch at Cantlers Inn which is 5 minutes away from the house....beautiful spot right on the water with the biggest crabs you'll ever eat! If your travel plans call for a rental in Annapolis, check this rental calendar and call Marilyn! Thank you again Marilyn and Mike....wishing you and your family a healthy and happy New Year!
